Getting back in the crafty mood

Helloooo all!

Hope I'm not the only one thinking it's a pretty nasty day out there. Had a bit of entertainment when we had a power trip at work. Quite a few customers thought it was just Lush; but after having people saying it was happening around Northampton, I began to think "You know, it probably is that it's rather soggy outside today".

I managed to find myself some dried lavender to go in a vase in the living room to make the room smell fresher, and brought all my trinkets out of storage to make it seem much more homely. Although, try as I may, I still can't get my books out of boxes.

 Me and his tallness were looking in the Argos catalogue at new furniture and found some things that would definately come in handy;

Picture 1: We are trying to find a decent bookcase that can hold all my craft books, and all Paul's computer books and comics. Thinking that we'd only need one shelf for our goodies!

Picture 2: Bit of a bargin, and a big need! When we went to move, we destroyed out wardrobe.. Only because it was falling apart anyway ha. So £50 for wardrobe, storage unit, and bedside unit. I won't knock that!!

Picture 3: We liked the look of these units because they are slimline, and would be able to fit all our DVDs and CDs. £40 for the two is abit steep, but if it helps?

Picture 4: Paul wants to get a smaller table. Not much to add, lol!!

So, we'll be getting set to put loads more onto Ebay. If you want to buy them, you will have to come collect :)

Well, I have as the title suggests, I've been a crafty little lamb!!

Gosh that was a blast of colour!! All of these goodies will be on Etsy, some with better photos as well!!

I'll leave you all with a photo of my pretty new buttons <3

  1. It must be so much fun setting up a new home together! Quite envious in fact.
Your beady bits are ever so pretty and look so pristine and perfect. A joy to look at,on, as you say, a rather grim day. Mind you our LX seemed to be OK this end, thank goodness!
I believe there is a Bicycle Basket Bazaar this coming Saturday, at the Fishmarket. Maybe see you there?
    Have a good week,
    Z xx

  2. I have to work this Saturday, so won't be at the BBB. I will do a stall there one day.

You should see how I keep everything - little jars full of beads, buttons, jump rings lol.

Thank you so much for the comment :D x
