Fun from the crochet front

My tall one has given me a mission. Also an incentive to purchase a fair amount of yarn (over £30 worth) to complete said mission.

He has requested several things of the handmade nature. And I have 3 weeks to complete.
  • Face Cloths
  • Cushions
And he only wants them in Purples, Creams, and Reds.

But I thought, what the hay; I'll start on a star garland aswell :)

You are probably all wondering what this is all for?! Well. To put it simply, it's my fiancee's birthday on 10th May. But we won't actually be able to see each other. So my plan is to creep round after he's gone to work and place a big pile of fluffy happiness on his bed!

What a surprise it will be! I will have actually completed my 3rd, 4th and 5th projects of a crochet nature for him!

I will be using;
  1. Debbie Bliss Cotton DK
  2. Rowan Pure Wool DK
  3. Rowan Handknit Cotton
Makes more sense to make things for the better half out of yummy quality yarn!

On the crafting bandwagon and more news!

Hello Bloggers!! Hope all is well with you all.

I've been on a bit of a crafting bonaza, so needless to say I have some photos I'm going to show off.

First off two jewellery sets for a girl at work;

Thenn, some different bits of jewellery I made to go on Etsy;

The last piece of jewellery is part of a new range of items I am making for the knitters / crochet fans who love bright jewellery too. They have stitch markers that can be removed from the necklace / bracelet / earrings and used on your work. Nifty huh?

And two teaser photos of what I may be working on :)

On my trapsing round the village today I decided to pop into the two charity shops. And found to my happiness and delight, pretty little things!

I found a yummy cupcake tea tray, a ball of Sirdar Gemini Brushed DK, and a vintage Patons Baby Pattern book. The total I paid was £2.05! What a bargin.

And to finish a day that was all about me and the tall one, we are flat viewing on Saturday!! 11am we are going to look at a beautiful little property on Northampton. I'm very excited to say the least!

Morree Finished Crafty things

Okay so to be honest, I've not been a well bunny of late. It happens everytime about this time of year. So to cheer myself up, I played with some wool. And I played with some supplies. And I created lots!

Set of 5 Stitch Markers for studentka on the Phoenix Knitting Forums

Using a tutorial from Lucy @ Attic24 > "Birdie Decoration" I crochetted something properly!
Needless to say I am working on many more!!

I have some more things to upload then I shall edit this post with more pretty photos!

EDIT: Here are more pretty photos for you to love :P
